Tuition is due at the time of registration. Our registration fee is $25 per dancer or $40 for family. Tuition will be withdrawn from your bank account or debit card on the 1st of each month until June. One class a week is $85.00 per month.

If your tuition is returned from your bank account, a $30 fee will be accessed. Tuition paid after the 5th of the month will incur a late fee of $18. Automatic Payment is required. Payment is required in order to receive your uniform, to participate in class, competition, and/or recital.

Automatic Payment

Auto Payment is required for your child to register. There will be a 3.5% convenience fee added to your payment. Your recital fee and tuition will be set for auto draft on set due dates.


Charges to your account

Danzstar will not responsible for any bank return fees. Late fees will not be reversed unless there is a error on DanzStar behalf. All merchandise transactions are subject to 6% sales tax. Autopay is REQUIRED and only applies to monthly tuition and recital fees. All other charges will be sent to you customer in a statement to review and approve before processing.


Log into your dancestudio pro portal and click on “Attendance” to mark your child absent. If your child is more than 10 minutes late for class, they will have to take notes due to missing the warm up time of the class. Tuition will not be prorated for any missed class for any reason. Make up class will be given if class is cancelled by the instructor. If a dancer miss more 3 classes after the month of March 2024, they will not be able to participate in our FINALE RECITAL.

Dress Code

It is important for your dancer to wear their uniform according to the class dress code. Uniforms help facilitate an attitude of unity and teamwork, and for the instructor to see the technique without layers of clothes.

All uniforms packages are to be purchased in studio. Every class will receive a leotard, tights, water bottle and a bag except for our hip hop, contemporary, and tap class.

Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Tap class will receive a T shirt, water bottle, and a bag.

No baggy t-shirts, baggy shorts, jeans, spaghetti straps, no loose jewelry or other inappropriate attire will be allowed in the studio. Hair should be pulled away from face (preferable a bun for ballet).

To purchase your uniform, please click “ONLINE STORE” in your account to purchase in advance.

All shoes is to be purchased at Dance Outfitters located on 1036 Volvo Parkway Chesapeake, VA. Please inform them what studio you are dancing with and they will be able to assist you with style and color.

Withdrawing Enrollment

If you withdraw yourself or your child during the season, you must notify our staff by email no later than the 15th of the month to not be charged for the next month tuition. If it is received after this day, you will be responsible for the following month's tuition. All withdrawal notice must be sent to No withdrawal in person will not be considered. Any withdrawals after January 1st will result in full tuition until our season end unless you have an unforeseen circumstance.

Class cancellations

Class may be cancelled by the Director due to inclement weather, power outage, or any reason which prohibits class instruction. You will receive an email and a notification on our Band App, Facebook, and Instagram. The cancelled classes will not be rescheduled unless practice is needed for a performance.

Studio Announcements:

Announcements are sent via emails, Band App, posted on student portal, and website. The information is about the studio performances/adjusted schedules/make up classes, costume due date, teacher announcements, performance make-up, performance attire, and mandatory rehearsals. If you don’t check your emails, sign up for the Band App and get notifications quickly. See the Director for details about the app.


Parents are not allowed to watch class or wait in the lobby area.

Drop off and pick up your child at the entrance to make sure we ensure our students are focused during class and there is no congestion at the doorway. There will be no running, yelling, or disruptive communication in the lobby area to respect the class in session.

Parent Observation

Parents are not permitted to enter the studio during class hours unless authorized by an instructor or director. If you are waiting to speak to a staff member or our director, please refrain from cell phone usage and wait patiently for someone to assist you. In the month of November and March our studio will have “Parent Observation” week where you will be able to watch your child in dance session via zoom. Our staff will send home reminders prior to these dates.
