Welcome to the DanzStar 2027 Recital!

Get ready for an unforgettable recital season as DanzStar proudly presents our 2027 theme, “Game of for Christ!” This Recital Hub is your one-stop destination for everything you need leading up to the big show — including important dates, rehearsal schedules, costume details, performance information, and recital weekend procedures. Our goal is to make this season exciting, organized, and stress-free for every dancer and family as we prepare for a powerful celebration of talent, passion, and purpose on stage. We cannot wait to share this incredible experience with you and make lasting memories together at recital!

  • Rehearsal: Friday, June 4, 2026
    • Student arrival at 8:15AM
    • Rehearsal time: 9AM - 12PM
  • Recital: Saturday, June 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM
    • Student Arrival: 12:30 PM
    • Parent Entry: 1:30 PM

💰 Recital Fees

  • Tickets are $25 in advance and $28 at the door. Ages 2 and up need a ticket for entry.
  • All recital fees and costume payments are non-refundable.
  • Payment is due on the 28th of Sept, Oct., and Nov. If you enroll after December 1st, the balance is due on February 15th.

🚨 Attendance Policy

Recital season is very busy, and our team works hard to make it FABULOUS for your family.

To ensure a smooth performance, please review the following:

Recital Participation Requirements

  • All dancers are required to attend every class in May and June.

  • Missing classes during this time may result in dismissal from the recital.

  • No rehearsal = No recital participation.

Rehearsal Day Drop-Off Procedures

  • Please drop off your dancers in the lobby and leave the premises so we can rehearse without distractions.

  • Joyful Jumpers/Toddlers need to be dressed in costume, tights, and jazz shoes. Parents should return at 10:00 AM to pick them up.

  • All other dancers are to bring all of their costumes with them labeled in garment bags.

  • All costumes will remain in the theatre for all dancers except Joyful Jumpers

What to do on RECITAL day?

What to Wear

  • All dancers (except Joyful Jumpers) should arrive wearing their Recital T-shirt and black leggings.

  • Joyful Jumpers should arrive in their costumes, tights, and jazz shoes.

  • Hair and makeup should be completed before arrival.

Hair & Makeup

  • All dancers must wear the same hairstyle used for Picture Day.

  • Make up Include

    • Mascara (exclude joyful jumpers)

    • Light foundation (exclude joyful jumpers)

    • Lip gloss

Backstage Procedures

  • Please label every item with your dancer’s name.

  • Joyful Jumpers will be picked up in the lobby at the side door immediately after their performance.

  • Please do not send Joyful Jumpers backstage with any belongings.

Audience Seating

  • All guests, including the parent dropping off a dancer, must enter through the side and main entrance at the front of the building.

  • Seating will begin at 1:30 PM.

End of show

  • Once your dancer has completed their final dance, please meet them in the lobby. Please be patient as our staff and volunteers bring out your child to you and gather all their belongings.
